Description

Early film from "Kamikaze Girls" ("Shimotsuma Monogatari") director Tetsuya Nakashima and starring Masatoshi Nagase ("Hidden Blade"). On a quiet sunday morning in an average Tokyo apartment complex, the various inhabitants go through their normal yet profoundly strange lives. Room 102 houses a young couple suffering complete failure of communication, room 202 houses a young girl who feverishly studies only to beat her classroom rival, room 301houses a girl sick of her stalker, and room 303 houses a lonely old woman who screems at exactly the same time every single day. However, this sunday turns out to be more than an average sunday, as each resident's story becomes entwined into a strange yet quiet story.

「下妻物語」の中島哲也監督が、「夏時間の大人たち」に続いて手掛けた劇場用映画の監督第2作。のどかな日曜日の朝。東京のとあるマンション、102号室に住む若夫婦には最近会話がない。202号室のハーフの女の子は塾のライバルに勝つことだけが生きがい。301号室に住む女性はストーカーに追われる自分に酔いしれ、303号室の孤独な老女は毎日決まった時間にものすごい叫び声をあげる。そこに次々とおかしな事件が起こり・・・。
