For the second season, director Yuki Komada ("MUGEN NO NINJIN-IMMORTAL/assistant director") was hired to depict more intense battles. Hideyuki Kurata ("Maid in Abyss") will continue to serve as series director. Rurouni Kenshin" marks the 30th anniversary of its serialization.
