Description

[Machine Translation] A major epic of neo-realismo by master filmmaker Visconti, starring Alain Delon. The film was restored in 4K from the original negative, with badly damaged sections replaced with high-resolution positives. Two scenes that were censor-deleted at the time of the film's release were fully restored from the original prints found in the vaults of the Venice Biennale. Cinematographer Giuseppe Rotunno supervised the restoration process. The Parondi family has moved to Milan to live with their eldest son, who lives there. The eldest son is obsessed with his fiancee, and is unable to devote himself to boxing.
