Cocoon

[Machine Translation] Ai Kamano's new work, which foreshadows a new development of Ai Kamano while further extending the context of alternative/post-rock music! This EP contains singles from "Ghost Grace" and "Carte", which were released after the second full album "HUMAN". The pursuit of alternative pop music that Kamano pursued with "HUMAN" has been carried over into songs such as "Totality" and "Chrysalis," which expand the context of post-rock and alternative music. The song "Prelude", which is a song with a classical and contemporary music approach, one of Kamano's roots, shows a new direction for Kamano. From the heavy-handed electronic sound of "Ghost Grace" to the poetry reading of "Carte," the various approaches seem to have gone beyond the realm of experimentation and have become established as a new way of expression for Kamano himself. While he continues to release works that pursue the possibilities of the voice, his recent proximity to pop music has steadily deepened the overall track makeup of his music, which is also a must-hear. Now Kamano is once again a chrysalis, wriggling around in a cocoon of vivid colors. A new work that foreshadows further new developments in the future has been born. The music is performed by Sohei Mishima (cinema staff), GOTO (Reisatsu, DALLJUB STEP CLUB, etc.), An Suhara, Atsuko Hatano strings, Wataru Sato (Gecko & Tokage Parade), Kunimitsu Takahashi (osterreich) for the lyrics, Ayaka Toki for mixing, Takeo Kira for mastering, and The album was produced by a strong team that Kamano trusts, including Takeo Kira for the lyrics, Ayaka Toki for the mixing, Kazuki Sugawara for the cover photography and artwork.
