80年代の関西インディーズシーンで活動していたサイケデリック、ガレージ・パンク周辺のバンドが集まり1988年にリリースされたコンピレーションアルバム「Young Person's Guide To West Psychedelia」が初のCD化! 言わずと知れたガールズ・サイケの元祖「Mescaline Drive」に始まり、元BoredomsのHIRA率いる日本サイケデリック・ロックの金字塔「花電車」、今作でしか聴くことのできない3曲を収録した「FOLK TALES」、アルケミーレコード主宰のひとりでシーンの立役者でもあった林直人率いる「AUSCHWITZ」の4バンドを収録。それぞれのバンドの個性が激しくぶつかり合いながら轟音飛び交う圧巻の全11曲。
