Furusato

[Machine Translation] ONE DRAFT is a hip-hop/R&B unit consisting of 2 MCs + 1 DJ, RYO (VOCAL), LANCE (MC/VOCAL), and MAKKI (DJ). All of them are classmates from the same high school baseball team, and they named themselves "ONE DRAFT" with the hope that each DJ/RAPPER/SINGER will be the first draft pick. They are aiming to be sluggers in the music scene. Their debut single, "Furusato," is a nostalgic killer tune (ending theme for the movie "Kito Kito") with a melody that evokes an overwhelming sense of nostalgia and lyrics that express pure feelings for their hometown and family. The coupling song, "When Cherry Blossoms Bloom," is a mellow hip-hop tune featuring New York-based singer JUJU, which sings a message to friends while reflecting on memories of school days under the theme of graduation.

2007年度、ドラフト1位新人。ONE☆DRAFTは、RYO(VOCAL）、LANCE（MC/VOCAL）、MAKKI(DJ）の2MC+1DJからなるヒップホップ/R＆Bユニット。全員が高校野球部出身の同級生。DJ/RAPPER/SINGERそれぞれドラフト1位という願いを込めて「ONE☆DRAFT」と名づける。バットをマイクに握り替え、目指すはミュージックシーンのスラッガー。デビュー・シングルとなる「フルサト」は、圧倒的な郷愁感を誘うメロディーとふるさと、そして家族を想う気持ちを純真に表現した歌詞世界を持つ、ノスタルジック・キラーチューン(映画『キトキト』エンディングテーマ)、また、カップリングの「桜咲く頃」は、NY在住のシンガーJUJUを迎え、卒業をテーマに学校時代の思い出を振り返りながら、友達に送るメッセージを歌ったメロウ・ヒップホップチューン。
