Next Millennium Vibrations

[Machine Translation] Next Millennium Vibrations", the 1993 album by Magical Power Mako, who passed away suddenly on February 7, 2025, is being reissued with new artwork and newly remastered! This release is especially meaningful in honoring the legacy of Magical Power Mako, who passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2025. Mako's musical style is extremely flexible and adaptable to many genres, and this reissue was planned and approved with Mako himself only months before his passing. Next Millennium Vibrations" weaves together distorted tape loops, ambient soundscapes, sampled oriental percussion, and comical electronic sounds to create an atmosphere that is surreal, meditative, and deceptive to the senses. Mako skillfully weaves together fragmented beats and spacey melodies, fusing cosmiche, lo-fi psychedelia, and avant-garde experimental music. Manufactured in Japan in a standard jewel case with obi/remastered. Artwork by Yuko Asano, using stills from her animated film "West Mantra" (1980).
