Abiah Sings Nina

[Machine Translation] Abia, a singer/songwriter who made her impressive debut with "Life As A Ballad" featuring her cousin Robert Glasper, has completed her third album, following "BOTTLES" released in 2015. The album features songs related to Nina Simone, a pioneering female singer/songwriter/pianist whose soulful and spiritual voice has been revered throughout the ages, and offers graceful and exquisite soul music for adults. The album includes "Black Is The Color of My True Love's Hair" (covered by Lauryn Hill), "See-Line Woman," a folk song from the American South, "My Man's Gone Now," a compassionate blues song, and a duet with an acoustic guitar. Don't Smoke In Bed" is a ballad from Nina Simone's classic album "Little Girl Blue". The last song, "I'm Just Like You," is an original composition inspired by Nina Simone. This is a masterpiece of many popular songs.
