[Machine Translation] The Polish Cello Quartet is an ensemble founded in 2011, whose members are graduates of the Higher School of Music in Lodz and Katowice. The four members of the quartet have the lofty goal of making the cello quartet a permanent stage piece, and to this end they are constantly searching the repertoire of cello quartets, visiting libraries and publishers' archives, and forgetting about the cello quartet itself. ポーリッシュ・チェロ四重奏団はウッチとカトヴィツェの高等音楽院の卒業生たちをメンバーとし、2011年に創設されたアンサンブル。この種のアンサンブルがこれまでになかったポーランドでは画期的なことで、活動初期からコンサートや音楽祭で大活躍をしている。4人のメンバーは"チェロ四重奏曲を恒常的なステージ作品にすること"という高い目標を持っており、そのために常にチェロ四重奏曲のレパートリーを探し、図書館や出版社のアーカイヴを求めて各地を訪問、忘れられた作品の発掘を続けている。また現代の作曲家たちともコラボレーションし、時にはジャズ・プレイヤーと共演するなど、その活動は多岐に渡っている。この彼らの初アルバムも、ポーランドの音楽市場において先駆けとなるもの。2016年録音。
