Plot

Born into a yakuza family, Kikuo loses his father in a gang conflict and is taken in by Hanai Hanjiro, the head of a prestigious Kamigata kabuki family. There, he enters the world of kabuki and meets Shunsuke, Hanjiro's biological son and heir. Though they come from completely different backgrounds, the two become rivals, devoting their youth and lives to the stage.
