Released in 1990 alongside the Super Famicom console by Nintendo, "Super Mario World" features a soundtrack with Koichi Sugiyama as the general producer and Sadao Watanabe as the music producer.
The lineup of performers includes renowned musicians such as Soichi Noriki (Keyboards), Tsunehide Matsuki (Guitar), Jun Kajiwara (Electric Guitar), Kenji Takamizu (Electric Bass), Yuichi Togashiki (Drums), Motoya Hamaguchi (Percussion), and Keiji Toriyama (Synthesizer).

The soundtrack contains a total of 179 tracks, including the original BGM and sound effects not only from "Super Mario World" but also from "Super Mario Bros." 1 through 3.
