  • What is Coachella Festival?

    Coachella, formally known as Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the largest festivals held in Embassy Polo Club, California, United States.
    Coachella has featured many popular international artists, including Korean idol groups LE SSERAFIM and ATEEZ, New Zealand indie rock band The Beths, Tuareg songwriter Mdou Moctar, and others.
    Notably, several Japanese artists have also performed at the festival, including Cornelius in 1999 and 2007, X JAPAN and Otoboke Beaver in 2018, as well as Hikaru Utada in 2022.

    This year, the festival will be took place on April 12-14, 19-21, 2024.
    Number_i, YOASOBI, Atarashii Gakko! and Awich will appear at the festival as "88rising Futures."
    Their performance will be live-streamed on the following YouTube video.

    Number_i is a Japanese boy band associated with Tobe, formed in October 2023.
    The group consists of three former members of King & Prince: Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji, and Yuta Kishi.
    They released the first digital single "GOAT" on 1 January 2024.


    YOASOBI is a Japanese super duo, consisting of Lilas Ikuta and Ayase. They are active under the concept of "novel into music."
    Their activities are expanding into various fields, and their works are becoming familiar not only in Japan but also in the world.
    In June 2023, the song "Idol" has reached the top on Billboard The Global Excl. U.S.

    Atarashii Gakko! is a Japanese girl dance group formed in 2015, consisting of four members: MIZYU, RIN, SUZUKA, and KANON.
    The group made its worldwide debut in January 2021 under 88rising with the single "Nainainai."
    88rising is an American musical platform and record label primarily for Asian American and Asian artists active around the world, such as Joji, Keith Ape, Rich Brian, and Niki.

    They are one such example, and their popularity is expanding with live performances around the world.
