One of the symbols of Japan, Mount Fuji, is always mysterious to us with its remarkable view. Mount Fuji's appearance can change depending on the weather, the position of the sun, and the location where you are looking. We tried to make a list of the best spots to take a photograph of Mount Fuji.

1- Arakurayama Sengen Park [Yamanashi]

Mount Fuji with Arakura Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine pagoda is one of the most famous views of the mountain. Most people know this iconic view but don't know where it is taken. Especially with the cherry blossom in mid-April, it is a view that you should see.

2- Lake Ashinoko [Kanagawa]

You can take a photo of Mount Fuji with the red torii gate of Hakone-jinja Shrine rising from the water of the crater lake, Lake Ashinoko. A massive landslide formed this lake 3,000 years ago.

There are two natural sandy beaches in Lake Ashinoko you can enjoy. And you can also board a family-friendly pirate-themed ship and explore Lake Ashinoko while enjoying the Mount Fuji view.

3-Fuji Five Lakes

Fuji Five lakes district offers one of the best views of Mount Fuji. This area contains five lakes: Yamanaka, Kawaguchi, Saiko, Shoji, and Motosu.

One of the best spots to witness Diamond Fuji is at Lake Yamanaka. The "Diamond Fuji" is a natural phenomenon that occurs when the sun appears at the summit of Mount Fuji and makes the peak shine like a diamond.

If you are lucky, you can take a photo of Mount Fuji with its reflection in Lake Kawaguchiko at the northern shore.

Lake Shojiko is the smallest of the Fuji Five Lakes. Mount Fuji on the northwest side of Lake Motosu looks like the scenery on the 1000 yen bills from the famous photo taken by Koyo Okada.

And on Lake Saiko's western side, you can take a picture of Mount Fuji.

4-Oshino Hakkai:

There are eight ponds that are famous for their mineral-rich spring water in Oshino Hakkai. These ponds are the result of volcanic eruptions and volcanic activity in history. You can walk around them with bridges and pathways and enjoy the view of Mount Fuji. This view is known as one of the 100 best views of Mt. Fuji in Kanto. You can also witness "Diamond Fuji" in the winter season.

5-Shin-Fuji Station

If you are in a hurry and passing by Shin-Fuji station, you can get your camera ready to take a photo of Mount Fuji at the Shin-Fuji Station.

6- Mount Kintoki

You can enjoy one of the most photogenic views of Mount Fuji from the summit of Mount Kintoki. You can see as far as Hakone and Lake Ashinoko by looking south. While hiking on the trails, you should remember that this mountain is famous for the legend of a warrior with superhuman strength and a giant axe.
