2009年で5回目の開催となった「美ぎ島 ミュージックコンベンションイン宮古島」。オルケスタ・デ・ラ・ルスのメンバーであり、山崎まさよしやbirdのライブでもパーカッショニストとして活躍するGENTAが発起人となり、「宮古島の美しい自然を守っていきたい。」というメッセージを広く伝えるために出演者・スタッフ全員がノーギャラで運営されている、このフェスの模様をDVD化。2009年5月29日から三日間にわたって行われた今年のフェスの模様の中から、厳選したライブ映像とドキュメンタリー映像、更に宮古島の美しい自然の映像も交えて約2時間に凝縮。アーティストの発する音楽とボランティア精神から生まれるグルーヴが島の自然とあいまった、「地上の楽園」とも形容された三日間が部屋にいながらにして味わえる究極の癒し系ライブDVD!!
