I believe that Japanese animation should be watched from the original source. Why? It is original, unaltered, uncensored. No cuts, no edits. It is unrivaled. When the American companies get a hold of this they make censors, cuts, and edits. This is not how animation should be experienced. I have watch some of the American dubbed version of Dragon Ball when I was a kid and that has nothing on this. The packaging is brilliant, stunning, an attention grabber because it is culturally designed. The jewel case that house the digital versatile disc is my favorite kind. The disc is easy to remove and return and the papers are easy to remove and return because you pull them out vertically, not horizontally. The episodes are as they were aired on Japanese televisions back in 1986. The jewel case even provides the exact date when they first aired. The voice actors are great. A brilliant cast. Having the Japanese voice actors is also very important to me because I am studying the Japanese language so this is a bonus. Join Son Goku and Bulma as they start an adventure together to find and collect the mystical seven dragon balls. This is the publication to get because it is the original Dragon Ball and it should be experienced in no other way.

I've seen good reviews so I thought I start buying them, there is no "Dragonball" Remastered, only Z and GT exist but since they have crap video it's not gonna be worth it, unlike Z/GT they had awesome video and it showed in the remasters. Sadly I'm going for dragonbox for dragonball.
Absolutely fantastic release. I was collecting the American releases & their so called "remastered" box sets. They have nothing on these releases. I've never seen Dragonball so clean & crisp. Absolutely superb.
