NTI, an American space exploration giant, discovers 200,000-year-old ruins on Saturn's moon Titan. Soon after, however, the research ship disappears and crashes into a space station on the moon. In order to investigate the cause of the mysterious accident, NTI organizes a new survey team and dispatches them to Titan, only to find the slaughtered body of a member of a rival West German survey team. The decaying ruins of this ancient site harbor a creature, an abominable life form beyond human understanding.
