Royal Straight Flush / SCARECROW

2年間の沈黙をやぶって発表されるSCARECROWの2ndアルバム「Royal Straight Flush」は、絶賛された1stアルバム「QUAD」と比較しても「SCARECROWは化けた」と唸らせる、ゴツゴツした輝きを放つ異形の宝石のような作品。これまでライブだけで披露されてきた待望の音源化曲6曲と全くの未発表曲6曲の計12曲。SCARECROWの進化と異形っぷりがこれでもかとつめこまれたロック盤になっている。新曲「WereWolf」「SLAY」は、アルバムからの先行カットシングルとして9/30に配信リリース。ハードで華やかで際どくて、ロックってこういうことだよねと思ってしまう2曲。2006年、黒田倫弘(V)・伊藤賢一(G)・石橋政徳(B)・水江英樹(D)でバンド結成。2007年1stアルバム「QUAD」を発表。全国ツアー(ファイナルSTUDIO COAST公演まで)を大成功におさめる。2008年は、前出ツアーのLIVE DVDのリリースのみ。年間通して、ライブ活動と制作に専念。2009年、待望の2ndアルバムリリースを発表。10/21「Royal Straight Flush」の発表後、全国ツアーが予定されている。(ファイナル12/5 SHIBUYA AX)
