● Lisa Ono, whose one-of-a-kind voice brings warmth and clarity, has long been a leading figure in Japan's Brazilian music scene. In recent years, she has also gained wide popularity across other parts of Asia.

● Her first new album in six and a half years was recorded as a duo with pianist Masaki Hayashi, who also produced the album. Its theme is the songbook of Antonio Carlos Jobim, the founder of Bossa Nova, whose 100th birth anniversary will be celebrated in January 2027. This is Lisa Ono's first Jobim collection in 19 years.

● Through the intimate yet spontaneous sound of a "duo," where even each other's breathing can be felt, the album presents the essence of Jobim's masterpieces in a fresh new light.

● Sadao Watanabe, the saxophonist who introduced Bossa Nova to Japan in the 1960s, appears as a guest on three tracks. The two first met in Sao Paulo, Brazil when Lisa Ono was nine years old, and reunited backstage at the Tsukiji Jam 2025 festival in April 2025. Their first-ever recording together is a landmark collaboration in the history of Bossa Nova in Japan.

● Liner notes are written by novelist Haruki Murakami. Lisa Ono: vocals, guitar / Masaki Hayashi: piano, whistle, chorus / Sadao Watanabe: alto saxophone (03, 07, 12). Recorded in November 2025 at Onkio Haus, Tokyo.
