NEWシングル「コンパスソング」リリース!! 鹿乃の7枚目のシングルとなる本作は、2021年1月よりTOKYO MX他で放送のTVアニメ「装甲娘戦機」のエンディングテーマ。今作は、これまで数々のアニソンヒット曲を生み出してきた田中秀和 (MONACA) が前作アルバムと同じく全面的にサウンドプロデュースを手掛けている。「コンパスソング」は、アニメの中で繰り広げられるバトルシーンとは対照的に、変身を解いた女の子たちが一緒に旅をしていくなかで成長しあうような、穏やかでちょっぴり切ない友情ソングに仕上がっている。また、カップリング曲には、鹿乃の友人でもあり、でんぱ組.incや虹のコンキスタドールのメンバーとして活躍している根本凪とコラボ歌唱した「ミッドナイトシアター with 根本凪」も収録。初回限定盤は表題曲のミュージックビデオとTVアニメ「装甲娘戦機」ノンクレジット エンディング映像が収録されたDVDに、アニメ版権描き下ろしステッカー付き!
