It is a useful shape. It doesn't hurt although the edge (looking at it from the tOp) does poke a bit if you try to use that too. I like it. Straight edge but slightly fluffy brush that fits lid very well to give detail application which isn't too targeted either. Useful for those who like to try creative looks or not jUST one simple style.

This is on the the best eye brushes I’ve ever used. This particular brush is amazing for picking up shimmery/glittery topper shadows without the brush causing fall out all over the face it’s amazing! It’s also good for center lid color and bending between 2 shades on the lid. The brush is amazingly soft and still pick up a great amount of product! I live using this with The Wayne goss palette the celestial shadow in particular. It’s just beautiful. Any of the Natasha Denona chroma crystals it does a fantastic job. I’d highly recommend this brush to everyone! The Denona topper shades that’s in her big cheek palettes it picks them up like butta. The Urbanan Decay Moon dust shadows this brush will pick it up amazingly! You’ll love this brush buy it lol!!)
This is a lovely, functional brush for base eyeshadow. It's pine squirrel, so the hair is really soft on your eyelids and does not irritate your skin. It's also a good size for those with small eyes (I have monolids). As a point of comparison, the head is slightly narrower than the Hakuhodo J004G. I've used it for powder and mineral eyeshadow to good effect. Due to its material, I do not think it's a good choice for cream eyeshadow though I have not tried. The brush hair is thick and there is no splaying or shedding, even after washing. The handle is light in your hands, despite it being slightly longer than a Hakuhodo too.
