The first half of the Z Gundam release is a solid package with very good blu-ray quality, however, surprisingly, not as good as the original series release. The audio, once again, is off the charts however. For a anime TV series from the mid-80's this is amazing. It comes with very little bonus features, but such is the case for early anime. One thing stands out: the creditless opening and ending songs. That looks literally as if it were 4K. My jaw dropped. If you are a Z Gundam fan, buy without hesitation. Badass soundtrack, great characters, exhausting plot. Awesome.
