Gen Box Set "Visual" [w/ 2Blu-ray, Limited Edition]

Gen Hoshino's 6th album is here! The album includes 16 tracks in total, featuring hit singles such as "Sozo" (2021), "Fushigi", "Kigeki", and "Eureka", along with many previously unreleased songs making their first appearance on this album, including "Mad Hope (feat. Louis Cole, Sam Gendel, Sam Wilkes)", which is also the title track for the upcoming nationwide tour "Gen Hoshino presents MAD HOPE" starting in May 2025. The album also features collaborations with artists including Louis Cole, Camilo, Cordae, Lee Youngji, UMI, and DJ Jazzy Jeff. The "Box Set "Visual"" includes 2 Blu-ray discs and 1 special poster featuring newly taken photos by photographer Kotori Kawashima. In addition to footage from the January 28, 2023 Yokohama Arena performance of the event "Gen Hoshino presents "Reassembly"", the video discs also include talk and acoustic performance footage from a live-streamed program broadcast immediately after the show, a behind-the-scenes documentary capturing the making of "Reassembly", and a talk selection curated from all performances in the series, presented as "Reassembly Extra". "Nise Akira," the familiar character from Gen Hoshino's live performances and his radio program "Gen Hoshino's All Night Nippon," is featured in a fictional behind-the-scenes documentary titled "Nise Akira and Friends, Spring 2025," which follows his recording of a new song "Fake" for the first time in about six and a half years. The bonus videos have a total runtime of 5 hours and 46 minutes.

前作『POP VIRUS』のリリースからおよそ6年半ぶりとなる、待望の星野源6thアルバムリリース!! 2021年リリースの「創造」をはじめとした「不思議」「喜劇」「Eureka」などのシングル曲のほか、2025年5月より開催される全国ツアー『Gen Hoshino presents MAD HOPE』のタイトルにもなっている「Mad Hope (feat. Louis Cole, Sam Gendel, Sam Wilkes)」など、このアルバムで初解禁となる多数の未発表楽曲も含む、全16曲が収録される。また、Louis Cole、Camilo、Cordae、Lee Youngji、UMI、DJ Jazzy Jeffら、フィーチャリング・アーティストが参加することも決定。「Box Set "Visual"」には、映像ディスク (Blu-ray2枚)に加えて、写真家・川島小鳥による撮り下ろし写真を使用した特製ポスター1種も封入される。映像ディスクには、2023年1月に行われたイベント『Gen Hoshino presents "Reassembly"』1月28日・横浜アリーナ公演の模様に加え、終演直後に楽屋から生配信された配信番組『"Reassembly" アフター (バースデー) パーティー in 横アリの楽屋』のトーク&弾き語りの映像、『Gen Hoshino presents "Reassembly"』の裏側をとらえた密着ドキュメンタリー、全公演から厳選されたトークセレクション、そして大阪城ホール公演で披露された星野のライブなどでお馴染みニセ明による、やしきたかじん「なめとんか」のカバーライブ映像などが収録された、「Reassembly Extra」も収録。さらに、星野のライブやラジオ番組『星野源のオールナイトニッポン』でお馴染みのキャラクター"ニセ明"が、約6年半ぶりに新曲「Fake」のレコーディングに挑む様子を追った創作密着ドキュメンタリー「ニセ明と仲間たち、2025 春」も収録され、映像総尺5時間46分という大ボリュームの豪華特典になっている。
