Slap That Naughty Body/My Fate

Slap That Naughty Body... The title isn't deceptive. This song is as saucy as the title. Beyond that it's a great example of why Anna is such a good artist. Her voice is very powerful and she uses it here to her fullest. Very few people can yell in key and she does it with perfection. The song is not typical Anna, but it certainly is one that will get stuck in your head, and not in a bad way. Blue Moon is a nice soft song, again putting Anna's strength on display. My fate is another easy listen with a great mix of chunky guitar riffs, strong lyrics but a soft feeling that puts her voice right in to your soul. Unfortunately, unlike the previous reviewer my copy did not come with a poster or any extras, but who needs extras when you've got that beautiful voice singing to you?

Good single overall. SLAP MY NAUGHTY BODY is a bit silly as a song, just what I'd expect from Anna. MY FATE and BLUE MOON are imho better songs, with nice lyrics and good music. Also this came with a pretty nice poster (actually 2, I was lucky ^^), which is a definite plus!

This is my first time hearing songs from Anna. I've seen covers of her past albums but never really paid attention to her which I regret. The 2 title tracks are the best. Slap That Naughty body is really addicting. Specially the chorus. I really don't know how someone else could sing that chorus the way she does. My Fate starts off slow and it turned me off when I first heard it but then it kicks into rock. I love it now. Blue Moon is a good orchestral ballad song. I think the Single should have been a triple A side instead of a double A side.
