Cruise Chaser Blassty begun serialization in Hobby JAPAN Magazine, following its release as a PC game in the 1980s. The science fiction series which blended novel writing, full scratch build models and highly precise illustrations, continues to radiate an evergreen charm and appeal even today. The PLAMAX version of the main mecha, Blassty, was based on the designs from the Hobby JAPAN serialization, which is commonly referred to as the "novel version".Each joint is articulated, and the mecha can be transformed from Cruise form to Special form with the help of interchangeable parts. The arms of the Cruise form are integrated, while the Special form makes use of articulate arm parts for a wide variety of both still and action poses. The display stand comes with two types of arms, to match the height of each form. Includes water-slide decals for the various markings on the mecha.

'80年代にPCゲームとして発売された後、ホビージャパン誌上で展開された『クルーズチェイサー ブラスティー』。小説とフルスクラッチビルドの模型特撮、精密感溢れるイラストの織りなすSF感あふれる連載は、現在になっても色褪せない魅力を放っています。PLAMAXでは一般的に『小説版』と呼ばれるホビージャパン連載時の設定をベースにメインメカのブラスティーを立体化。各関節の可動とクルーズフォームからスペシャルフォームへの変形を一部差し替えで実現。腕部はクルーズフォーム用の一体型パーツとスペシャルフォーム用の可動パーツをセットするなど、静的なディスプレイと動的なアクションポーズの両立を目指した設計を随所に取り入れています。ディスプレイ台座は各形態に合わせて高さを変えられる2種のアームが付属。各部マーキングは水転写デカールが付属いたします。
