xxxHOLiC Vol.1

The xxxHOLiC anime is much better than the disaster that was Tsubasa. The story and visuals are stunning and well thought out. The series gets better as the episodes go by. However, my one main gripe is that the whole anime excludes the events of Tsubasa and if you have read both mangas, you know that they get more intertwined at the later stages. It is a shame because the overlaps are one of the most important plot feature in both serials. In series two, this is more apparent with huge gaps left untied. Also, there are 'filler episodes' which add nothing to the whole plot. One wonders how, if a series three comes out, they are ever going to conclude as I bet there will be a big inter-Tsubasa-holic finish... I will give this a 4.5 star rating.

Within a deluxe box designed by CLAMP, is one of their most accomplished works, both visual and story line. The anime flows in such a way that you forget yourself in the few hours it last.

Another great series for the group Clamp. A easy buy for any Clamp fan like myself. Contains the first 3 episodes and a great box to hold the 4 DVD's. Also includes a Holic poster which is also great. Get it before its gone.
