Wow, this album absolutely ROCKS from beginning to end. The only album that i ever actually bought from Rush was Moving Pictures , but since picking up the shm-cd version of that i was interested in getting some more Rush on shm-cd , so i grabbed this album.....and whoa i'm blown away! the sound and clarity is incredible , the musical machinery of the band is in top form as well as Geddy's vocal delivery and energy....he is in top form at this point! It's awesome.....i'm now pissed because i waited too long to get Hemispheres , and now it's sold out! Other Rush shm-cd's i picked up are Rush's first album , Fly by Night , 2112 , Moving Pictures , Signals and so far Farewell to Kings is my favorite....it flat out rocks and sounds killer! I've since just bought Permanent Waves and Grace Under Pressure.......can't wait to hear them on shm-cd!

"A Farewell To Kings" is my all time favorite album by Rush. Lee, Lifeson, and Peart have so much passion and skills as musicians and it definitely shows on this fantastic effort. This SHM-CD is the best sounding edition of this release I've heard by far. Everything sounds perfect, warm, and balanced. It's like being in the same studio as Rush as they are recording. Great packaging too. Highly recommended!
GREAT CLASSIC, ALBUM AND JACKET AND REPLICA DONE VERY NICELEY AND THIS SHM REMASTERING IS AMAZING SOUNDS BETTER THEN EVER, THESE DISCS ARE FOR SERIOUS RUSH COLLECTORS, IF YOU WANT EM GET EM BEFORE THEY ARE GONE.......
