Maaya Sakamoto's 32nd single is a double A-side single and triple tie-up single featuring a beautiful ballad and a song of her own composition, written and arranged by Shigeru Kishida of Kururi! Violet" is the intro theme song for the new anime "Deai Mon" scheduled to air in April 2022. This is the firs time that Shigeru Kishida and Maaya Sakamoto work together. The song 'Kotobani Dekinai', is the outro theme for the third season of the new April anime 'Honzuki no Gekokujo'. This will be the first anime tie-up song written and composed by Maaya Sakamoto in four years since the outro theme "Hello, Hello" for TV anime "Amanchu! -Adobansu''. M3 'Senri no Michi - studio live -' is a song written by Maaya Sakamoto to commemorate the 1000th airing of her radio program 'Vitamin M' on bayfm, where she has been a host for 20 years. The cover is designed with a different photo for each edition.

坂本真綾 32枚目のシングルとなる今作は、「くるり」の岸田繁が作編曲をつとめた美しいバラードと自作曲の両A面シングル&トリプルタイアッフシングル! 京都の和菓子屋を舞台に、志半ばに音楽の道をあきらめた青年と、父親の行方を探す少女との触れ合いを描く4月新番組アニメ「であいもん」のオープニンクテーマ「菫(すみれ)」。京都出身のバンド「くるり」の岸田繁が作編曲を担当し、作詞・歌をつとめる坂本真綾とは初の組み合わせとなる。人と人との出会いと別れを美しくも切なく歌い上げる名曲が誕生した。同じく4月新番組アニメ「本好きの下剋上」第3期エンディングテーマとなる「言葉にできない」は、「ハロー、ハロー」(TVアニメーション「あまんちゅ! ～あどばんす～」エンディングテーマ)以来4年振りとなる坂本真綾 作詞作曲によるアニメタイアップ曲。更に、M3「千里の道-studio live-」は、坂本真綾が20年間パーソナリティーをつとめるbayfmのラジオ番組「ビタミンM」のオンエア1000回目を記念した、こちらも坂本真綾による自作曲。ジャケットは、形態ごとに異なる写真のデザイン。
