      GREAT RECORD 4

this album i bought when it came out early in 1985, things had got a bit quiet with pat around late 1983/early 1984 but regrettably pat was having a lot of personal problems at this time, regardless of the termoil in his life this record still came out great, this came out at a time when heavy metal was dominating the us and many bands where enjoying huge success after just one or 2 albums, by this time pat had been playing on the scene almost a decade and he sadly seemed washed up with this album, this was not a fan favorite but i really liked this especially the title track HOT SHOT!!! this is a very heavy record and pat tries to entertain some of the hm elements of this time but what pat did best was his first 5 studio albums, anyway i still reccomend this album as it would be pats last rock album for a very long time, i will have to check google but i think this was pats last record in the 80s and then he returned in the early 90s going full on blues like gary moore did for the last 20 years of his life, anyway this was a great hard rock record by pat and i still enjoy it now almost 3 decades after its release, as with all the others the remastering is great and the lp replication is perfect as per the original japan lp from 1985..........i waited many years for these to come out in this format and it sure was worth the wait..
