One of their more experimental albums, the amount of variety, the thought put into the entire album as a whole, and of course the great songs make this my favorite Mr.Children album. It's almost like a concept album starting with an instrumental overture that becomes part of the first song 'Sosei' which then transitions into a kind of theme song for the album appearing again as the last track 'It's a wonderful world'. Anchored by this extended intro and the ending, each song in between seems to show exactly how the world can be wonderful. That doesn't mean each song is all love, peace, and happiness though. Actually the tracks have more variety among them with some dark songs, more rock-oriented songs like the anthem-status 'youthful days', 'Loveはじめました', and 'Yasashii Uta' and of course the ballads. The more-rock oriented songs give the album an energy that seems to be lacking in their later more mature and more ballad-based albums. If you appreciate Mr.Children's song-making talents and genius lyrics but get tired of the common ballad format, then this may be one of your favorites too. Highly recommended to everyone. Required listening for anyone who likes Mr.Children.
