GODZILLA 2000 Millennium

Before I write my review of the movie, I would first like to say how great of a job CDJapan did with this order. After it shipped, it arrived on my doorstep in "3" DAYS...WOW, that's from Japan to America in "3" DAYS.. THANKS!! Even though it say "First Press: Sold Out"(Which included 25 cards from the movie) I still got the "First Press" edition. I guess they still had some after all, lol. Anyway, I love the packaging of this box-set. You get two "CD" cases which contain 2 "DVDs". You also get 2 booklets, one a story board, and the other about the movie. The first disc contains the movie, which is good BTW. The second disc contains HOURS of extra features and behind the scene footage. I think TOHO did a great job with there first ever Godzilla film to DVD(which was this one...lol). The picture quality on the movie was alright, there were some grain issues in scenes, but that's the case with every Godzilla 2000 DVD(America...anywhere), i'm definately not saying the quality sucked, because it passes with a A- from me. This is a box-set any Godzilla fan should get if you haven't gotten it by now. 5/5 from me, and thanks again CDJapan, i'm definately going to be back in the near future.

The video quality is a mixed bag, while there is seemingly no print damage there is alot of mild grain and the colors aren't always that bright, but it still looks good. The audio is great and there is nothing complain about. The extras are good as well, first you a 1 hour and 50 minute behind the scenes feature which although interesting, seems to run to long. Next you get a booklet with the movies storyboards and another one with behind the scenes photo's. Finally you get 25 trading cards. An overall solid release.
