[AOR誕生40周年記念 AOR CITY 1000] 元祖AORといわれるボズ・スキャッグス『シルク・ディグリーズ』発売40周年 ! 今なお人気が高い70～80年代のAOR作品をお求めやすい「千円」で発売 ! シリーズ監修はLight Mellowで知られる金澤寿和氏。大瀧詠一『A LONG VACATION』で知られるイラスト界の巨匠・永井博氏が本シリーズの共通アートワークを提供。 ◇英国出身、1949年生まれのドラマー/シンガー。エルトン・ジョンのバンドのドラマーとしての活動が有名(現在もバンドに在籍)。1975年ソロ・デビュー後、活動の拠点をアメリカに移し、1979年には「涙のダンシング・シューズ」が全米18位のスマッシュ・ヒットを記録した。本作は4枚目のアルバムで、ヴォーカルやドラムなどほぼすべてのレコーディングを自分で行ったポップな作品。「愛はどこへ(Should We Carry On)」は、エアプレイのアルバムにも収録されているデヴィッド・フォスター&ジェイ・グレイドンによる甘いバラード。他にも、トニー・シュートがソングライターとして参加している。 ◆期間生産限定盤 (2018年3月31日まで) / 世界初CD化 / AOR誕生40周年記念 / ライナーノーツ / オリジナル発売日: 1980年
