Conceptual Crap Vol.3

[Machine Translation] shotahirama, who has garnered a great deal of attention as a new innovator in noise and glitch music, has released his first new album in about two years since "post punk" and "Stiff Kittens"! The new album is titled "Conceptual Crap" and is a six-part series project. Unlike the previous two works, "Vol. 3," the third part of the six-part series, was released in October 2004. The cheap, mixtape-like glitch music that has been presented in the series is further deteriorated in this third part, with overwritten noise and emotional melodies that appear in the middle part of the album, all of which are expressed in a more inaudible manner. ノイズ、グリッチミュージックの新機軸として大きな注目を集めたshotahiramaが『post punk』『Stiff Kittens』以来およそ2年ぶりの新作を発表! 新作は『Conceptual Crap』と題され、全6部作構成のシリーズプロジェクト。ループやビート、メロディ、低域を徹底的に排除してきたこれまでのshotahiramaとはまるで異なるエモーショナルな音楽が全編を通して展開される。16年10月に発売が開始された全6部作構成の第3部にあたる『Vol,3』はこれまでの2作品とは異なり、ノイズ/グリッチとビートがすべて同時進行で展開される。シリーズで披露しているチープでミックステープのようなグリッチミュージックも第3部に突入する本作ではさらにその音像が悪化し、上書きされるノイズや、中盤でその姿を現わすエモーショナルなメロディなど、すベてがより聴き取りづらく表現されている。なお、ジャケットデザインはSUGIが担当し、写真はSUZU OKDによるもの。
