昨年冬に発売され大ヒットを記録したPCゲーム「ef - a fairy tale of the two.」(原作: minori)が、待望のTVアニメ化。DVD第4巻発売!! アニメ界が誇るヒットスタッフが集結!! キャラクター原案は「D.C.～ダ・カーポ～」他で知られるヒットクリエイター・七尾奈留。音楽は原作ゲームでも音楽を担当した天門。監督には「ネギま!? 春」の大沼心を迎え、監修には「ネギま!?」「ぱにぽにだっしゅ!」等を世に送り出してきた新房昭之。そしてアニメーションキャラクターデザインは杉山延寛が担当し、アニメーション制作をシャフト(「さよなら絶望先生」etc.)が行う。第7話と第8話を収録。
