1968年に発売された和ジャズの名盤を紙ジャケでリイシュー! モダン・ジャズの黎明期にGIとして日本に滞在し、日本のジャズメンと交流したことで、日本のジャズ界に計り知れない貢献をしたピアニスト、ハンプトン・ホーズ。1954年に日本を離れてから14年後の1968年5月に観光で日本に訪れた際に、急遽旧友をスタジオに集めて"再会ジャム・セッション"を敢行。そこに集まったのは、松本英彦 (ts)、宮沢昭 (ts)、沢田駿吾 (g)、鈴木勲 (b)、ジョージ大塚 (ds)といった最高の布陣。この伝説のセッションを収録したアルバムが、ついにCD化。1968年5月15日録音。初CD化。解説付。紙ジャケット仕様。
