being a mini-lp cd editions warm admirer i have mixed feelings towards this one. 1) of the cover: both the print quality, the folding preciseness and paper thickness appear inadequate, 2) of the sound quality: sorry to say, but sonically this disc is a disillusion. the depth and the stereo imaging are limited, the layers of sound all glued onto a shallow space. there's no lush, warm breath of the instruments playing, a feature that latest 2016 24-bit remastering should have revealed (question: what was the source material that has been remastered then?)and where's the fabulous, extraordinary dynamics of the original 1969 vinyl release, praised by record collectors worldwide?
