I previously reviewed that the The Cars SHM-CD releases are comparable to the HDCD versions. After repeated listenings these Car SHM-CD releases are very good indeed. Nice smooth and "lively and open" SHM sound. Mini LP and inner sleeve replica are just fantastic. The people who do the Mini LP replica's in Japan must be Car's fans. Panorama is a great album....and what makes it even greater is that it's not as commercially popular as The Cars or Candy-O. But there is not a dud on this album (not even close), the whole album song to song totally rocks, great written stuff here and great production. I'm glad they went off the commercial path with this album and just got down and wrote good music. Check out the Amazon reviews from real Cars fans. If you're a fan this one is a definite pickup!
