REGARDLESS of the demise of deep puple by the time this record was released, i still feel this was a classic, songs like dealer, you keep moving and lady luck are classics, sadly deep puple where in total turmoil when this record came along and they where on the verge of splitting up, i was only a kid at this time but for this tour deep purple played radio city music hall in nyc with nazareth as openers (as a couple of people i know where at this show in nyc in 1975) and they said IT WAS STILL A KILLER SHOW AND TOMMY BOLIN WAS GREAT LIVE well, THAT NIGHT AT LEAST, anyway this was the mark 4 line up but it was very short lived, bolin brought a different sound to the band and was nothing like blackmore was but as with the mark 3 line up the band itself where able to put out this great record, i still listen to this a bit often and never got tired of it, i know many purple diehards did not like this like they dont respect steve morse today some 40 years later but this was still a very very great album but sadly a few months after its release purple split up for 8 years until the spring of 1984, purple split in february 1976, anyway im sure anyone reading this has heard this album but this is a wonderful edition with fantastic remastering and the original japan lp replication is awesome!!!!! good for collectors my only complaint is the same as the last few, why this was not done like the deluxe edition is a shame but i still love this version!!!!!!! its fabulous

I was 15 years old when this fine album was released. I still think its one of purples finest. Maybe not classic status...but close...And once again, the japanese work on the cardboard-sleeve is amazing. You simply have to see it, to believe it. So fine, so fine, so fine. Highly recommend this cd.
