This CD is hot!!! I haven't heard the Basie Orchestra this good since 1974. The sound is crisp and the soloists are top shelf. And that Melba Joyce gave me goosebumps all up and down my back. Five stars for the band that keeps on swingin. I know if Mr. Basie was still alive he'd have been smilin' while recording this. This is a masterpiece.
