Best Flight -Terminal A [w/ DVD+T-shirt, Limited Edition / Type A]

MEG had a really productive period with Universal Music, releasing lots of great music and a string of excellent albums. Best Flight collects not only her biggest singles from that span, but also some other album tracks that are well worth the asking price. The compilation opens up with her last single, Passport, which is a fine introduction and one of her best tracks overall. From there, Best Flight goes through songs from her albums with the track listing put together as a solid mix that shows the different styles MEG worked with, as well as the moods her music showed. Everything works great, whether it be catchy tracks like Amai Zeitaku and Heart, or great emotional songs like Beautiful and Maverick. There's even experimental tracks like Freak and Just Like That, both of which are very enjoyable and show just how far MEG was willing to reach for different sounds. Best Flight even closes with her very best b-side, Miracle, which is a fine way to end the compilation. The extras included in this edition are also very nice, I liked the T-Shirt which had a cool design on the front, and the DVD was very fun to watch (Paris is a great song by the way, and the video for it was well done). Also nice was the photo book which had a good variety of fun pictures for the fans, and there's a postcard too. Well worth it!
