今作は、前作『solitude ability』以降、リリースを重ねてきた『二人なら - ep』から純猥談 短編映画主題歌「二人なら」、「717」、『星屑ドライブ - ep』から小説家・三浦しをんの短編集『天国旅行』に収録されている「星くずドライブ」にインスパイアされた「星屑ドライブ」、「永遠が続くのは」、「会いに来て」、昨年配信リリースした「貴方に会いたいのに」、「空白の居場所」とKarin.の近年の代表曲を完全に網羅。さらに、新録として村山☆潤がサウンドプロデューサー・アレンジャーとして参加した「幸せを願えてたら」、「息を止めて」、「結露」の3曲と、TomoLowがサウンドプロデューサー・アレンジャーとして参加した「私達の幸せは」、「初恋は」の2曲を収録した全12曲入りのフルアルバムとなっている。ジャケット写真をはじめ、アートワークには淡路島で撮影した撮り下ろし写真が使用されるので、CDを通してKarin.の音楽と共に今作の世界観が体験できる。
