I think this SHM-SACD is clearly one of the stronger releases in this series. It sounds noticeably more solid (full bodied), especially in the critical midrange frequencies than the DCC Gold CD, especially on some tracks (on other tracks the differences are smaller, and maybe on a couple of tracks the DCC Gold CD still has a slight edge). Overall a very good transfer and recommended.
