I was really looking forward to this, and I have to say I'm disappointed. If ever there was an album that needed remastering, it was this one. And, after comparing it to the last cardboard sleeve release of this album, I think it was better last time around. I have dozens and dozens of shms, and here, I think it adds nothing. The sound is much muddier than last time. Now, if they were trying to recreate the old vinyl sound, then that may explain it; but even the original vinyl (for you purists) sounds infinetely better than this. Excellent repackaging, and its nice to have the bonus sleeve, I will say that. And, the last four bonus songs are nice to have here, but even they sounded better on the old "Rock and Roll" greatest hits package. Still a great disc to own, but if you are buying it, buy it for the repackaging and the extra songs, not for any revolutionary new sound. Keep you old cardboard sleeve issue of this one.
