The Best [Hi-Res CD (MQA x UHQCD)] [Limited Release] [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]

This compilation sounds awesome. I've never had the original LP, therefore i can't make comparisons, I only say the remastered CD is top class when it comes to clarity of sound. In their days these guys were really a boogie/rock/R'n'B band like no other. I just got some reservations about Marriot trying too much to sound like a black singer : as far as I'm concerned a weak point for the group. Two more things : the cover easily wins the cake for being the worst cover I've ever seen (bad taste as ever was one).Second don't trust the notes on the CD Japan page, it's not a gatefold cover, it never was. Four stars fully deserved anyway.

this is a nice japan HI RES MQA UHQ CD remastered edition of this humble pie compilation that was originally released back in the early 1980s, great track selection & great original japan edition of the japanese version of this lp regarding faithful obi strip & all. to bad more tracks where not added since the room on the disc allows for it, regardless this is a great basic retrospective of what humble pie where about!!!!!
