I was a little a bit confused and sceptical about the quality of this new platinum SHM-CD but after listening to it, i must say that this pressing is magnificent. I compared it with some other pressings and i think none of them has that warm, analogue-like feel which this pressing has.

Although I was very disappointed with my Platinum "Who's Next" as limp and weak, this release is brilliant. This Cream classic sounds even better than the regular SHM release with a fuller bass and much clearer definition in the voices. Overall the reproduction has more impact on this version. Packaging is fantastic and the bonus mono cuts of all tracks really make the package worthwhile. My hat is off to CD Japan.
