An expanded 2-CD set commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of Billy Idol's debut album, which was one of the mainstays of London punk in the late 1970s with Generation X before moving to the US and starting over as a solo act. DISC 1 includes all songs from Billy Idol's shocking 1982 solo debut album, Billy Idol, plus the recently discovered and previously unreleased Clubland remix of the hit song "White Wedding." DISC 2 contains 15 previously unreleased live tracks recorded at The Roxy, a long-established live music venue on L.A.'s Sunset Strip on August 12, 1982, shortly after the album was released in July 1982.

      Outstanding release 5

      This is at the best version of Billy Idol's debut album I've ever heard, thanks to the remastering and SHM-CD format. The stand out track here is the never before released Clubland Remix of White Wedding. This track is over 12 minutes and it's awesome! If that wasn't enough, we get a complete live show from 1982 on disc two, which is great since there's not a lot of live Billy Idol that has officially been released. An outstanding release, I hope we also get expanded releases for Whiplash Smile, Charmed Life and Cyberpunk down the road too.

      White Wedding extended remix WOW 5

      Great album with many extras. First there is the sonics. Very loud crisp bass lines throughout. Track 11 disc 1 is a long version of White Wedding that sounds special to my ears. The second disc is a 67 minute concert from the Roxy 1982. The sound is so good. Like a quality studio recording. This is a must have for Billy Idol fans and anyone looking for great music from the 1980's.
