This film and it`s entertaining story is build around Yuya Yagira, who has not only the good looks but also a fantastic charisma. He gives this movie the special extra. I can`t wait to see more of him (please, again with english subtitles - which are still too rare on jap. DVD`s). The visuals shot in Thailand are beautiful and the story is unusual. I would have prefered a different ending - but I have to say it was surprising - and that`s not bad either!? I love the Japanese for their quality in DVD and CD`s. This DVD has an extraordinary picture quality. American and european studios should take a look at this DVD to see what great picture is possible on DVD. The surround sound could have been used a little more effective - especially the scenes in Thailand with lots of nature around should have had more surround effects. But still the sound is quite good for this kind of movie. Fazit: a reference picture DVD with an interesting story and a brilliant Yuya Yagira.

This story was a bitter sweet story about a boy, Tetsumu Sakamoto Tetsumu, and his big dream to being be a professional elephant trainer after his magical experience with his family's pet elephants. I really love this movie and the musics were great, too. If you like Yuya Yagira's performance in Daremo Shiranai then this movie has to be in you must get list!
