Winner of the 46th Japan Academy Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and the 65th Blue Ribbon Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, this is Kazuya Ninomiya's masterpiece that will remain in your memory. Director Takahisa Zeze depicts the spectacular life of Hatao Yamamoto, who was unjustly interned in a Siberian concentration camp after World War II. Contents of Bonus Disc1: documentary footage and event footage. Contents of Bonus Disc2: an interview with Kazunari Ninomiya and Tori Matsuzaka, and a TV program featuring this movie.
