刑事の頭に、受刑者全ての犯罪が記憶された。草なぎ剛主演! 2人のスペシャリストがタッグを組んで挑む、異色の刑事ミステリー! ――冤罪で10年服役していた元警察官が、刑事に復職!? 犯罪者の心理を知りつくした"スペシャリストと"被害者に寄り添い、犯罪を憎む"「おばさん刑事」――そんな二人が異色のタッグを結成!! これまで、ドラマ・映画・舞台などでさまざまな役柄を演じてきた草なぎ剛が、異色の刑事役に挑む。草なぎが演じる刑事・宅間善人(たくま・よしと)はただの刑事ではない。京都府警広報課に勤めていたが、殺人未遂罪で懲役15年の判決を受け、刑務所に服役。しかも服役10年目にして冤罪が判明して出所してきた、という「元・受刑者」刑事なのだ!
