Description

First Blu-ray box set release from anime series "Nurarihyon no Mago" featuring episodes 1 through 12 plus omnibus. Directed by Junji Nishimura ("Ranma 1/2" series and many more) and animated by Studio Deen ("Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan"). Featuring great voice artists Aya Hirano, Yui Horie, Hiroki Yasumoto, Kosuke Toriumi, and more. The story based on the manga series of the same name by Hiroshi Shiibashi and it has been serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Plot: Main protagonist Rikuo is a seemingly ordinary junior high school student, but in fact he is a grandson of the yokai (preternatural creatures) Nurarihyon and so is a quarter Youkai. He is leading the ordinary life somehow every day, associating with the various Yokais in his house. His grandfather, Nurarihyon, used to tell him about various heroic episodes of Yokai so that he naturally regard Yokai as cool creatures. However, one day he get to know that Yokai are the creatures who are disrespected by human. And then. . .
