すべてのシンガーの憧れ、ルーサー・ヴァンドロス、幻の名盤がついに再発決定! デヴィッド・ボウイ『ヤング・アメリカンズ』の録音をきっかけに結成された伝説のユニット。1977年にコティリオンからリリースされて以来、CD化・デジタル化されていなかった2ndアルバムを初CD化。若きルーサー・ヴァンドロスの熱い咆哮を聞け! 前作に続き、全曲ルーサーが書き下ろし、ポール・ライザーが編曲を担当。バックを固めているのは、ナット・アダレイJr. (key)やコーネル・デュプリー (g)、ウィル・リー (b)ほか東海岸の敏腕ミュージシャンたち。シックのナイル・ロジャーズ (g)も参加している。甘く心地よいメロディーとシルキーな歌声は前作以上に高く評価されている。ソウルミュージック・ファンの聖書「U.S.ブラック・ディスク・ガイド」でも激賞。日本盤は紙ジャケ仕様 (海外盤はジュエルケース仕様)。日本版解説 (林剛)、歌詞・対訳付き。1977年作。
